River Diverted

“River Diverted” explores the impact of human activities on the environment.

This large sculpture is connected to a thin chain attached to a red ball creating the overall appearance of a child’s rusted pull toy. The sculpture conveys a sense of nostalgia and childhood innocence juxtaposed with the harshness of industrial materials from which it is created. "River Diverted" explores themes of human impact on nature, the balance between control and chaos, and the complex relationship between human manipulation and the environment. Through its unique combination of materials and symbolism, the sculpture invites viewers to reflect on their own role in shaping and interacting with the natural environment.
