Scott Runion Sculptures

Public Art

Public spaces are a shared-canvas, interweaving the fabric of our everyday lives. The aim of his work is to create an immersive experience in each communal environment.

Public art creates a sense of place forging a deeper relationship between the public and their environment. Each art piece improves and enriches one's overall experience in a public forum, adding a layer of appreciation and connection to the places we often take for granted.

People do not live in homes devoid of pictures and objects of personal meaning. Public spaces are no different; they too should reflect and enhance our collective identity.

Scott Runion’s public art installations are crafted from durable powder-coated steel and bear an intrinsic connection to their intended sites. Each piece reflects the environment, embodying cultural, social, and local nuances. Scott believes public art and landscapes should be intrinsically linked.
